What Role Does Historical Literatures Play in Your Life?

                  Historical literature plays a huge role in daily life. Historic literature is the historical development of writing or poetry which attempts to provide entertainment, enlightenment, or  instructions to the reader. Nowadays, song is one of the connections to historical literatures. Songs are important to me because life is boring and tiring without them. The lyrics in songs is one kind of historical literature, which is poem. Every day I walk to school, I always listen to songs. Some people say that music alone is enough. However, lyrics and music both are essential because lyrics express the writer's feelings towards the world or a relationship. Since expressing one's thoughts cannot pass all feelings to the other, singing the thoughts with the help of music can fully express all the feelings and emotions. For example, Shakespeare often wrote his feelings and thoughts towards the darkness in the world, such as ambitions and selfishness, not only in his sonnets but also in his plays. The song's lyrics is not just a poem but also a story that the writer has experienced. In historical literatures, melancholy endings are every typical. That also takes place in the lyrics as well. Historical literatures are closely related to daily life. Without them, there will not be any exciting novels nor moving lyrics.

Letters and Other Words

The speaker writes this poem about his father. In the beginning, his father is described as a drunken man who cannot face his problems and lock himself in his room. When he was drunk, he would become unconscious of what he is doing. The speaker's mother, on the hand, had her flaws as well but they were not as bad as his dad's. Their marriage only lasted for 14 years, and they both were the victims in this tragic marriage. As time passed by, his father married another woman and had a girl. The speaker implies that time would change a person, no matter how awful the person has been.

"Do Seek Their Meat From God" Blog

Human and animals are the same. They seek food in order to survive in this environment. The survivor is the winner, and the losers die. If the panthers, the wild animals from the short story " Do Seek Their Meat From God", had eaten the boy instead of being killed, there would not be sympathy for the child. In the other way, there would not be sympathy for the panthers as well if they were killed. The panthers were only intended to look for food because they wanted to survive, and there was nothing wrong with eating the boy. In this world, it is either someone is going to kill or to be killed. The story tells the cruel theory of survival in this world and states that there is no mercy for the loser in the competition.
